archers attack (story/pic)

        The new coliseum had opened in Rome.  Gladiator games were to resume in honor of Rome's historical glory.  
        In honor of the opening games, the greatest athletes assembled to take part.  Among them were a group who had opposed the games.  They were to be permitted to protest outside.  
        As the games were about to begin, these protesters stormed the field.  In response, archers posted in the stadium opened fire.

Sorry for the poor picture quality

        Their sharp arrows sank deep into the athletic bodies of the protesters. As they lay writhing and dying on the ground, it appeared they had become a part of the ceremony after all.
